👀 Optional Viewing Peep Hole

Add a front peep hole to discreetly check on your reptile underground without disturbing them. Includes a personalizable magnetic cover plate for the outside of the enclosure. The color of the text will be either black or white depending on the contrasting color chosen for the hide.

⚠️ Important: The magnetic plate works only if the hide is fully flush against the enclosure wall on the peep-hole side.

📝 Tip

If your reptile is near the upper limit of a size range, consider sizing up — especially during shedding cycles when a bit of extra humidity and room goes a long way!

💡 How It Works

1. Add damp sphagnum moss or your preferred moisture-holding material to the inner tray.
2. Replace the lid with the bow to trap moisture inside the hide.
3. Position the hide on the cooler side of your enclosure for best results.

Humidity levels may vary depending on enclosure size, ambient room conditions, and the moss or substrate used.

This hide is fully customizable. Please follow the steps below to ensure you receive the correct size and configuration for your enclosure.

1️⃣ Choose Your Size

Select the size based on your reptile’s body size and available underground space:

• Small – Best for hatchlings and small-bodied reptiles
• Medium – Ideal for juveniles and medium-sized species
• Large – Designed for adult ball pythons and reptiles that prefer extra room

2️⃣ Choose Your Entrance Orientation

This determines where the main tunnel connects to the hide when facing the front of the hide.

• Left – Main entrance on the left side
• Left w/ Back Entry – Left side entrance plus a second entrance on the back
• Right – Main entrance on the right side
• Right w/ Back Entry – Right side entrance plus a second entrance on the back

🛤️ Back entrances are great for:

• Multi-tunnel layouts
• Larger enclosures
• Creating multiple access points underground

Note: The reason it costs more for an orientation with the additional back entry way is because that will come with an additional set of 1 straight and 1 curved tube.

3️⃣ Peep Hole Option (Optional)

Choose whether you would like to add a front viewing peephole to your underground hide.

• Yes – Add a front peephole with a magnetic cover plate
• No – No peep hole included

⚠️ Important: The peep hole should only be selected if the hide will sit fully flush against the enclosure wall on the peephole side so the magnets function properly.

4️⃣ Peep Hole Cover Text (Optional)

If you selected Yes for the peephole option above, you may add custom text to the magnetic cover plate.

• Enter the text exactly as you want it to appear (it will be converted to ALL CAPS)
• The text color will be black or white, chosen automatically for best contrast

If no text is entered, the cover plate will be sent blank.

• Orientation is based on facing the front of the hide
• Tunnel pieces are modular and designed to connect easily underground. You can connect however many you want infinitely!
